Mon Frere (RIP) may have been one of the best bands NC has ever had. No one will ever know. The band was way too shortlived and I'm glad this split exists. The band members always sited Botch as an influence but there was definitely a lot more going on that that. This was at times really manic punk that swayed into screamo and a lot of post-hardcore nods. I at times heard a heavier Swiz (musically). This band will be missed.
