Less than a year after their first LP, North Carolina's Whatever Brains are back with a brand new full-length. This time they've put away the electronic drums and weird home-recorded tracks and concentrated on making a "rock" record, and the results are both more focused and more expansive than anything in the band's quickly-growing discography. There are short songs, long songs, weird songs, angry songs, punk songs, rock songs, quiet songs, and loud songs, but everything flows together seamlessly.
